When looking for a PT, experience and knowledge are key and Danny’s body and accolades speak for themselves. I have been trained by him for a while and it has completely changed my perspective on fitness. Not only I have seen results that I never had seen before but I am myself more conscious of what it takes in the bodybuilding world, sessions are always great and I can feel and see the difference it makes to train with someone who has been there himself. I’d been training at NR gym a little while when I told Danny G my goal to compete in a fitness competition one day. I had no idea where to start and didn’t really know anything about bodybuilding. Danny had his own background in competing and coached me throughout the whole process- from a building season right through to my competition. My body fat has reduced from 28% down to 15% and all this despite entering a new era of being middle aged and the COVID restrictions hampering progress. Danny’s approach to my goals has been consistent and sustainable weight loss. No fad diets or drastic cuts. If you do things right you get the results. I started NRGYM 3 years ago and shortly after that I approached Danny and asked him to be my Personal Trainer due to his no nonsense attitude and his brutal honesty which I knew got results! Straight away, I knew that he knew what he was talking about and wasn’t just providing ‘lip service’ which I know PT’s have done in the past.

 He helped me understand different techniques to develop my strength and he understood what I preferred to train and used that to develop my endurance and strength. He also gave me the confidence to peruse with weight training and it was even discussed that I would start to train for weight lifting competitions (however, COVID did put a pause on that.)

Danny is a great PT, he makes each session different, engaging and you can have a laugh! His PT sessions don’t  stop after the one hour session either, as on many occasions I have asked Danny to support me with either bench press or to go through a new routine and he has always been happy to support and to develop my understanding further.

I trained in the gym regularly for years but didn’t seem to be progressing much towards my goals, so I decided to get some help. As soon as I started training with Danny both my training and nutrition has completely turned around for the better. He created gym plans that really focussed on my physical goals as well as providing advice on nutrition to fuel my body and support my training plan. Gone were the days of following online gimmicks, eating next to nothing and walking around with no energy. Danny took the time to ensure I was pushing myself during training but kept it fun at the same time and my plan was tweaked regularly to reflect the progress I made. Danny’s PT sessions are killers!!! However; if you want a good workout with great results you need to get booking. Working shifts means I have had to try fit in PT sessions where possible. I found Danny accommodating and understanding. I found Danny’s PT session were something I feared at first but once I had a sweat on and the inches kept coming off; it was win win!!! Danny has vast knowledge and experience, something which is invaluable and on the whole benefitted my training. His relaxed easy going persona aided me to enjoy the PT sessions and I have continued to come back. So A Big Thank You Danny!

I started training with Danny around 1 year ago. I couldn’t recommend him enough. I’m stronger, fitter, both mentally and physically. Danny takes pride in his work, and it shows every week. I’ve never had one session that is the same, always trying his best to keep it fresh and enjoyable. One of the highlights in my week is my session with him, it’s become routine. He started off as my trainer but has become a good friend and mentor. His hair is shit and he once grew a peado moustache but overall he’s a top bloke and I couldn’t recommend him enough.

Danny shows consistent enthusiasm and is driven to constantly learn about the human body and exercises, which really shows in the programs he puts together.
